SUPERVISOR: Maintenance Manager


OBJECTIVE: Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance & Electrical Technician is responsible for all electrical systems, wiring and equipment remaining functional. You will rely on your ability to multi-task as you work in a fast-paced environment to keep our company operational. Build your technical skills as you work closely with others in an efficient manner and determine which ones to prioritize. Your organizational skills will also be required as you ensure that you have sufficient supplies to handle routine maintenance tasks and can quickly get other supplies as needed to reduce downtime. Ensure the safe and appropriate operation of equipment by proper diagnosis, repair and maintenance of the operating condition of production/processing computer systems, machinery, and other equipment. Duties include but not limited to: Program, repair, and maintain all production computers, networks, PLCs, HMIs, and instrumentation along with mechanical equipment, such as pumps, conveyor systems, packaging equipment, fruit sorting equipment, blowers, and motors, in accordance with diagrams, blueprints, operating manuals, or manufacturer?s specifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:?(Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following)?


? ?Must maintain all production and non-production equipment in proper working conditions. This includes but is not limited to preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing, modifying and improving.


? ?Inspect on a routine basis electrical equipment, wiring, fixtures and other components to ensure they remain functional and are up to code, as well as to identify any hazards or issues.


? ?Make adjustments on sorting and packing equipment.


? ?Maintain Computers, PLC processors, Networks, and Process Instrumentation on equipment.


? ?May program PLCs and HMIs.


? ?Update change logs for all PLC and HMI programs.


? ?Confer with operators and observes, tests, and evaluates operation of machinery and equipment to troubleshoot and diagnose cause of malfunction.


? ?Test-run repaired machinery and equipment to verify adequacy of repairs.


? ?Repair and replace electrical wiring and components.


? ?Record repairs and maintenance performed in an accurate and timely manner.


? ?Ability to work on AC/DC power and control voltages.


? ?Carry basic tools and test equipment at all times and maintains such in workable condition at all times.


? ?Maintains computer skills in order to perform maintenance and repair on computer-controlled machinery.


? ?Effectively troubleshoots electrical, mechanical and process issues in an independent manner.


? ?Change bearings.


? ?Familiar with hand tools and power tools use.


? ?Check and replace gear boxes & electrical motors.


? ?Other duties may be assigned.


? ?Repair electrical systems, wiring, circuit breakers, equipment and other components so that they remains in proper working conditions.


? ?Review blueprints to understand the placement of wiring or to comprehend the working of the equipment to provide the right service and repairs.


? ?Provide suggestions on the lifespan of equipment and other electrical components, advising when certain components should be replaced due to potential risks.


? ?Participate in ?cross-training? for the purpose of learning new skills/functions, efficiency, to ensure proper coverage and to obtain a broader understanding of Vita-Pakt processes and procedures.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:


The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. A 40-hour work week will be considered normal. Extra hours, off hours, and extra work days may be required to accommodate changing schedules, new projects, and other special situations.


This job operates in an industrial production environment, with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, and/or loud noise. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.


WORKING CONDITIONS

? ?Occasional lifting of items up to 50 lbs.

This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:


? ?Minimum 5 year experience in the Manufacturing Industry.


? ?AA/AS preferred.


? ?Authorized to work lawfully in the United States.


? ?Relevant electrician certifications


? ?Familiar with the National Electrical Code


? ?Flexible to meet departmental needs. Must be willing to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.


? ?Overtime available when approved from a supervisor if there are business needs.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
