Directly involved assuring safe cost effective procedures are followed to meet or exceed production goals and objectives.
Participates in developing, implementing the Production Plan including recruiting, training, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, evaluating and the consistent application of all Company Policies and Procedures.
Direct responsibility for maintaining all current capital assets and is involved with selection, procurement and installation of future capital investments.
Without failure keeps abreast of, complies with, and enforces all regulatory environmental and operational policies and procedures meeting all third party compliance requirements.
SKILLS REQUIRED 1.
Working knowledge of plant equipment, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatics assuring safe operations.
2.
Ability to communicate with employees, suppliers and outside services and third party agencies to achieve expected results.
3.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
4.
Excellent problem solving skill with foresight to anticipate potential threats or problems.
5.
Strong hands-on leadership and decision making skills.
