We are seeking a bilingual (English and Spanish) Call Center Specialist/Receptionist.
This position will require exceptional customer service both in person at the clinic's front desk and over the phone handling call center responsibilities.
Summary of
Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing warm and friendly service both in person at the reception desk and over the phone Efficiently manage incoming calls on a multi-line phone system, displaying excellent customer service skills.
Schedule appointments in accordance with established guidelines, ensuring no patient is turned away.
Utilize all resources to secure patient appointments.
Educate patients on the services provided by Living Water Clinic, preparing them for appointments by advising on necessary documentation, and notifying them of any co-pays due.
Follow up with patients and conduct outreach calls regarding care gaps, ensuring continuous patient engagement and satisfaction.
Register patients for appointments, accurately and timely update insurance and demographic information.
Address and report any patient concerns or complaints promptly to a supervisor, ensuring patient satisfaction and quality of care.
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of financial programs, registration procedures, and insurance verification processes.
Route calls to the appropriate department or health center, maintaining efficient clinic operations.
Ensure patient confidentiality and privacy, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Handle basic computer tasks and efficiently use our EMR system to manage patient records and scheduling.
Prior
Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in customer service, including receptionist and/or call center environment.
Knowledge of medical scheduling and prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
Skills:
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
Intermediate computer skills, including EMR systems.
Excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
Ability to articulate complex information clearly.
Excellent follow-through on tasks and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Flexibility, dependability, and a welcoming demeanor.
